Radio Friendly Unit Shifter

WOW!!! Almost the end of the month! Where have I been keeping myself?
I feel like I have been asleep all month – or at least walking like a
zombie through a good portion of it.
Still wondering some days “What is wrong with me??”.

A lot of the same as the last month(s) – Freelance Work, Job Hunt,
Therapy, Exercise…

Definitely ready for some change.

As fall approaches we get the Baseball playoffs which should prove
fruitful for the Padres. They are getting Adam Eaton back for tonight’s game.
If he can get back on the track he was on before getting hurt, we should
have a great One-Two punch with Peavy & Eaton. Along with our SOLID relief
it should carry us deep.

Also tonight is the 3rd of 4 preseason games for the Chargers,
playing against a tough Minnesota team. The Vikings will play us
tough for a full 60 minutes but this is the last chance before
the Bolts make the cut to 65 players. I can’t wait for the real season
to begin though. This also means the start of Flag Football for me.
Since I have dropped some weight & have been hitting the gym like crazy
I feel like I could have another great year.

The talk of San Diego has been the kids from RBV playing for the
Little League World Series. It has been more exciting than the Padres.
They play the semi-finals Saturday and if they win they play for
everything on Sunday.

I am also ready for the weather to change. Maybe a few more cool days,
some nice brisk evenings. SD doesn’t have much in the “change of seasons”,
except this weekend it supposed to be hot & humid and traditionally
September is the hottest month.

I can feel I am on the cusp of many BIG things. I am sure they will
all hit at once. I went for a walk around Mission Bay this morning
for exercise and to clear my head. I am ready for whatever comes my way.
