I always claim summer TV is a wasteland of television badness, when in actuality it is the BEST. My TV
watching right now is peaking instead of declining. Sure, some of the yearly TV is wrapping up and I am
bummed about short television seasons, but with awesome TV like my list, I cannot complain.
Game of Thrones – The return to mythical lands of Westeros and the houses of Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon,
as well as many beloved characters. I have been warned NOT to fall in love with any of them because they are
relentless on killing off major characters. “I am the sword in the Darkness”

MadMen – The long awaited return of Don Draper and Sterling Cooper Draper& Price. I LOVE a great show
about adverting in the 60’s. I even got Tasia hooked into the show, watching all the episodes on DVD. Makes me
want a drink and a cigarette just thinking about it.
Magic City – New on Strz, this Miami hotel based drama set inside the late 50’s is similar to MadMen, but I think
will have a voice of it’s own. Lead by Jeffery Dean Morgan (Supernatural / The Watchmen) and a young, sexy
cast, this show has promise.
Breaking Bad – Returning later this summer, this drama about meth cooking and drug dealing in New Mexico.
I highly recommend catching up on the old episodes (4 season, I think). Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle)
is AWESOME in this show, and has a stellar supporting cast too!

The first look & trailer of the new Battlestar Galactica series – Blood and Chrome hit the web
this week. After the end of the BSG series I was bummed. I had hoped that through Caprica they
(the creators) would make a cool spin-off. Instead it was a FLOP. BUT after seeing this 1:30
minute trailer I think they have something to be proud of, and as a fan, I’m ECSTATIC!!

One year into the new place (well, not so new anymore). After 12 years on Grim (alone) and now one year (cohabitating), I see the good
and bad of living with someone else. Sure, it’s not always easy and it’s not just you living there.
It’s not just your mess. Or cooking for just yourself. Or taking care of cleaning by yourself. Or dealing with stuff on your own. You always
have to be considerate of the other person living there. I wouldn’t say “check-in” but…
It is nice to always have someone there to do something with, but I sometimes feel QUALITY or QUANTITY is better. Weekends are
great but they get filled up fast, with obligations to friends, family, and the house. I’m a VERY CLEAN person and used to clean every
2 weeks. I’m not as intense as I used to be, but still love a clean house.
The one thing I still hold true to living with someone is these two words – RESPECT and COMPROMISE.
As long as you do those 2 things, you life will be much easier and your living situation will be golden.
March has started off good. A couple of SUPER fun nights out with friends, including a couples night out
with Chad & Wendy (the newly engaged couple). We took them to Cucina Urbana (mentioned in my
January 21st write up).We made reservations about a month ahead of time. Had a great table in the middle
of the restraint. Great service was provided. The drinks were STRONG and the food was YUMMY! We had
appatizers as well as a full meal each and some deserts!!! Good time had by all. The one thing I decided that
night was, I would like to do more couples stuff, with my friends.
