AS almost anyone that knows me knows - I think the FOO FIGHTERS are the
greatest LIVE band there is. Not only that, they are original as hell when
it comes to videos. Their latest for "Long Road to Ruin" is like a 70's
soap opera and is a riot. They shot some of it in a mall in LA but only
part made it into their video HERE is the whole thing.

How do you know when you like someone?
How do you know when you are REALLY attracted to them?
What makes us attracted to each other?
Why would I like her MORE than I like her?
Blonde? Brunette? Short? Tall? How Old or Young?
Nice Smile? Good Smell? Great Body?
What I have found out about myself is dating for me
is like Exercise.I enjoying doing it. It's sometimes hard.
But the payoff is that great feeling
you get.
I always am lucky enough to talk to girls without
feeling intimidated.I think it's an acquired skill -
the more you do it, the better you get.
Practice makes Perfect. Confidence is reassuring.
But WHERE to meet these lovelies?
In a Bar? At an Event? Happy Hour?
At Work? Through Friends?
Maybe Online is more your thing?
The taboo is gone, correct???
I have found a combination of ALL these places is
a good start.Spread it out. Look everywhere.
Don't limit yourself. Meet a LOT of people. You never know
where she may be hiding...
Thankfully for me, I'm not in a place right now to think
about it. More important things weighing heavy on my mind.
Life stuff. Career stuff. Women stuff is taking a back seat.
I think part of me has finally decided that it is nice
to have a girlfriend / significant other / wife, but if it
doesn't happen (along with kids) I think I would be alright.

A promo photo is out for BSG Season 4 in the Entertainment Weekly. The photo reveals other spoilers though - Roslin burning something important, a new version of Number Six called Natalie who leads a renegade group of Cylons with a separate agenda, Apollo staying a civilian, Tyrol using a knife in relation to his hybrid child, and both Helo and Boomer looking intimidated by someone.

Sounds like the end of the War of HD maybe upon us (finally)...
In the wake of the Warner Bros. defection, Reliable industry sources are
saying that Paramount is indeed preparing to END their HD-DVD support
and announce a return to the Blu-ray fold. Details are currently being
finalized, and an announcement is expected as soon as they're complete.
Paramount's first new Blu-rays will almost certainly include many of those titles
that were cancelled last year, but that were already packaged a nd ready
for shipping, so you could see them in stores very quickly once the
studio announces.
Meanwhile, sources are telling us that Universal is looking to follow
Paramount and Warner's lead as soon as possible.
It truly is looking like by the end of the month the 'war' may be over
and if that is a case then it's up to the studios to get rolling on releases
fast to get consumers in - none of these half a dozen mostly crappy titles
a week, it should be more like two dozen including the big catalog titles
we all want to see - boxsets like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Indiana Jones,
Star Trek, James Bond, the pre-Cars Pixar movies, etc.
Also a juicy new rumour is that Apple's Steve Jobs may announce the addition
of Blu-ray Disc drives to their Mac desktop lineup at next week's Macworld Expo
in San Francisco.
I would be stoked.... Time to get a new Mac then.
Started back at work this week. Yikes!!! Harder than I thought it
would be, after 17 days off. But work is the life blood of society.
Now I just need to get HOT on some freelance clients (my usual
thinking at the beginning of every year).
Feeling a little under the weather this week as well. EVERYONE at VR
is sick, getting sick or been sick. Plus we have our Post-Holiday Holiday Party
(they do it in January because it's cheaper looking forward to free
Dinner and Drinks at the Sophia Hotel / Currant American Brasserie.
Plus I will most likely go out afterwards... Bluefoot here I come :)
Speaking of which, I went to NP Community Meeting concerning the BF's liquor
licenselast night. The City is hearing complaints from neighbors that may
cause them to loose their full license. Man, I would be BUMMED!!!
I will keep my postings updated on this, don't you worry.
Plus on top off all that - Charger's Football Part 2 this weekend.
Chargers vs the Colts. I think it will be a close game myself.
Soooooo looking forward to that!!!!
Haven't really played flag football this season. I just wasn't really
feeling it. I might try to make it out there over the next few weeks.
Overall, exercise hasn't been easy. I've went a lot over the vacation
but this week, with being sickly and getting up early again, just not
as productive work outs that I like. The plan is to get back to yoga
& pilates as well.
Speaking of vacation - got a chance to see the shyster Rob-Bob Baker,
his wife Audra & their new son, Cole. Very cute baby!!! Probably the
first time I've seen Rob & Audra in at least a year. Sounds like
she will be getting back onto the side of justice once she is ready to
go back to work.

I didn't get the art started I wanted to on break either. With TV in
re-runs I feel like I will get some time here to get into some of it.
Maybe even with work slow at VR, I might get some sketches in.
Even with just getting back, we actually have MLK day off in 2 weeks.
Now that puts a smile on my face ALMOST as much as the new FF cover
of WINGS "Band on the Run".

Just sitting here, a few days into the new year and really appreciating life.
Making it the best I possibly can. Listening to TMBG, realizing how great
they are, how much I love MUSIC and without it I would shrivel and die.
Experiencing new people like Kimya Dawson and how true & feeling her
lyrics are. Or wanting to sing and dance and stomp my feet when listening
to the Arctic Monkeys. Magical moments. Mmm, mmm, good.
Listen. Play. Dance. Live.
