As the days get warmer and tempers flare, I realize why people explode,
run people off the road, give the finger while driving, shoot at each
other, etc…
PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS. Plain and simple.
Be it the clerk at the sporting good store that can’t find anything
except 3 left shoes and no rights.Or going to Bank with 3 tellers working
the windows, 5 standing around doing “something else” and the new thing –
the greeter at the front door. "Hello, welcome to Hell’s Fargo
How can we help you today?”
“Well, if you could shit out a roll of quarters so that I don’t have
to wait in line for 15 minutes, that would be GREAT.”
No one takes pride in their job anymore either. They are just there
collecting a paycheck.Take some responsibility for the customer.
Help them out.
“I’m sorry we don’t have that in your size. How about I call another
store for you?” “Would you like another refill on your soda?” without
having to flag down a waitress.
And in the profound words of (and to paraphrase) Mr.Pink –
“The words TOO FUCKING BUSY shouldn't be in a waitress's vocabulary.
I got two words for that: learn to fuckin' type.”
