Countdown to the End...

The End of the Year that is. Where did 2009 go?????????!!!!! Seriously.

This was a great year, filled with good events and great memories, but
I'm a little hesitant to let it go. Maybe a little more? Is 30 days enough?

I wanna talk about the things I'm thankful for, happy to be part of, and
looking forward in the next 365 days.

I will start with the obvious - Happy that the holidays are upon us!

My Birthday always starts it for me. Then Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Man, did I have great start with a trip to Boston, a fun birthday,
reconnecting with an old friend, and valuable time with my family
to celebrate Turkey Day.

Next up - Holiday parties galore, including my own hosted event, Christmas
and New Years. I couldn't be happier and I'm savouring every moment.

My Hero

Today is the day the FOO FIGHTERS release Greatest Hits (volume 1),which includes All My Life, Best Of You, Everlong,
The Pretender,My Hero, Learn To Fly. Times Like These, Monkeywrench, Big Me, Breakout, Long Road To Ruin, This is a Call,
Skin and Bones, as well as two NEW tracks - Wheels & Word Forward.

There is a Standard and Deluxe version that has a DVD. I have been getting my FF fill the last week. Missed out on the
VH1 Storytellers (which airs on VH1 Nov 27th for extended Thanksgiving goodness!!!), but caught the 2.5 Hour Online show -
Live from Studio 606 and have watched it twice and got a copy of the music from it. KICK ASS!!!!!

In case you didn't know, the FOO are my favorite band of all time and I feel EXTREMELY lucky to have seen them 12 times
(and counting, and hope to see them as many times in the next 15 years (how many years they have been around).

ALSO today, Nirvana - Live at Reading and the re-issue of BLEACH come out.
